The Drawer Boy

CONTENT NOTE: Appropriate for older children

A young actor arrives on a small Canadian farm to research a play about
country life. His encounter with two middle-aged bachelor farmers - Morgan
and Angus, who has a profound brain injury that leaves him unable to
remember anything - launches a chain of events that reveals a secret. A
compelling look at friendship, the stories we tell each other and the
stories we tell ourselves.

Fawlty Towers

By: John Cleese & Connie Booth 

Directed by: Harriet Nixon

Fans of Monty Python and Britcoms in general will roar at this stage
adaptation of three episodes from the hilarious BBC TV series. And if you've
never seen it, this is your opportunity! Fawlty Towers is the best-loved bad
hotel in the world, a hilarious romp through the daily mishaps of a
belligerent, bull-headed and bumbling hotel owner, Basil Fawlty and his crew
of misfit employees, his put-upon wife and a slew of odd guests.

Cast of Characters: 

Basil Fawlty - Male 35 + an inveterate snob, the owner/manager of Fawlty
Towers. Physical comedy/timing is crucial

Sybil Fawlty - Female 35+ Basil's overly coiffeured, domineering wife

Polly - Female 20 - 30 an art student working at the hotel. The sensible one
in this made world

Manuel - Male 25+ A Barcelonan waiter. Spanish accent will be used and
physical comedy is a must


The Major (Major Gowen) - Male 55 + a doddering old man with a penchant for
his daily newspaper and cricket

Miss Gatsby and Miss Tibbs - Females 55+ two elderly spinsters who just want
to take care of Mr. Fawlty

Terry the Chef - Male 25+ a cockney man employed by the Fawltys' who finds
this whole mess rather amusing

Characters who appear in single episodes:

Mr. Hutchison - Male 35+ an obsessive-compulsive guest with a pronounced
stutter who falls prey to  Basil's antics

Mr. Walt - Male 35+ an unwitting pawn who simply wants a decent glass of
wine

Mrs. Richards - Female 40+ a cantankerous woman who refuses to accept the
fact she is deaf, Basil may have met his match

Mr. Carnegie - Male 35+ a Public Health Inspector who is named The Scavenger
Gourmet by an unsuspecting Basil


Other parts for guests who mill through; some who speak their minds and some
just want to get out while they can. Ages and gender vary. Some roles may be
doubled.

accounts, are interwoven to create an impassioned, contemporary story of the
lives of people persecuted under Nazi rule.

Directed by: Johanna Spencer
Audition April 28, 29, & 30
All it takes to make it in this country is hard work, right? Can a
middle-aged woman survive on $7 an hour? Acclaimed author Barbara Ehrenreich
set out to answer this question. Joan Holden's stage adaptation of Barbara's
odyssey working minimum wage jobs as a waitress, cleaning woman, and a
discount store clerk, provides an audience with a sobering view of the life
a third of working Americans now lead.

A contemporary, two-character musical that ingeniously chronicles the five
