[Osta-board] Alternate Retreat Options

I hope everyone realizes that this conversation applies to the 2013 retreat,
not the one coming up on Jan 20-22, 2012. We have already paid 50% ($1267)
of the cost of using Menucha for our retreat this year. It is prudent to be
talking, planning and setting up the location now for next year because then
we will know not to reserve Menucha when we are there in January. We have
had to make reservations for the next year, the same weekend that we use
Menucha because it is always so busy.

Not that I will be able to attend the retreat, but here is just a possible
location:

Prices:
Reasonable Rates: All of the retreat facilities at Harbor Villa have a
per-night fee for the building and a per person fee of $6 for each night in
residence: In 2011, Lighthouse: $305/ night, Anchorage: $180/ night, Harbor
House: $165/night.

You would need to cook your own meals, but I have stayed here before for a
church retreat and it is really nice.

Hi, I have been to Camp Cascade and it would be quite suitable in terms of a
meeting facility as far as I know.  But I have not checked cost.
It would be nice to get this figured out before the meeting next month.
