[Osta-board] Hazardous Driving

I’m hoping lots of people bring laptop computers in case we have to Skype in to the meeting again. The road conditions look bad and too dangerous to drive. Isn’t it odd that the two times we have had meetings this winter are the only two times we have had bad weather?!

Yikes-I don't blame you. I have concerns about driving conditions for us as well. We will be checking the conditions later this morning.

... Freezing Rain Advisory in effect from 10 am this morning to

1 am PST Saturday... 

The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Freezing

Rain Advisory... which is in effect from 10 am this morning to

1 am PST Saturday. 

* Ice accumulations: up to a quarter of an inch.

* Timing: freezing rain will begin around 10 am and will continue

through the afternoon and evening and then taper off late tonight.

* Locations include: Boardman... Hermiston... Ione... Arlington... 

The Dalles... White Salmon 

* impacts: accumulations of freezing rain will create

hazardous... if not impossible... driving conditions.
