[Osta-board] National Geographic article featuring Jimmy Chin photos

Good morning, Abby and OSTA board members,

    In the January issue of National Geographic Magazine that arrived
yesterday, the article entitled  "Impossible Rock" features the photography
of Jimmy Chin, the Keynote Speaker at the 2013 Western NSTA Conference.
 Jimmy also attended the reception held in the conference hotel the next
evening.

     This National Geographic article features extreme rock climbing, (of
course!) around the Oman Musandam Peninsula in the Persian Gulf.  Great
pictures, neat rock formations, but a rather remote and dangerous part of
our world.  Hooray for Jimmy Chin and the NGS.
