[Osta-board] OSTA Conference distribution by city

Hey all,

I emailed some of the instructors from the schools of education at Pacific University and Concordia and asked them to share the conference info with their preservice science and elementary teachers. I also reminded them of the free membership for preservice teachers and lower conference cost.

I think that Karin is going to do the same with Linfield and George Fox. Maybe if we canvas some other education programs we can hook some last minute participants that way.

Maybe it will help. Maybe not.

I hope that you are all getting the worD out to your networks about our upcoming conference - Multiple times and multiple ways.   Our registration is still slow for both our conference and our workshops.  Here is a visual on who is coming to the fall conference by city - Way to go Portland and Bend!

We have these terrific workshops happening on Friday with a free happy hour immediately following, with only 2 people signed up for some of them!  Now is the time to crank out the emails to the people you know care about science education in Oregon.  Let's motivate the procrastinators!!!
