I really have to question your choice of Spencers Hole.  The revue has limited access, very little parking (6 vehicles is about max) and plenty of neighbors around make mad.  It is a good spot if it is 1000 cfs and lower.  This place could easily close if over impacted. Who knows if this is public or  private land?  I would hate to see this take-out and play spot no longer accessible adding two extra miles the next take-out.   Please do your home work well to keep Spencers accessible.  Please post all responses to PDXkayaker.

Subject: [PDXkayaker] First Portland World Kayak Hometown Throwdown tomorrow at Bob's Hole







In conjunction with Next Adventure's first official Carnage Run of the season World Kayak will be hosting a freestyle competition at Joe Bob's. This freestyle competition is just for the fun of it. Free to participate and judged by your peers. It's not about how many ends you can throw -- spin to win is a possibility with the format being used for judging. Feel free to come out and watch if you don't feel up to competing. There are no prizes for winning, but participants and spectators alike will be entered in a raffle for prizes such as Crocs, t-shirts, DVDs, Mountain Khahki pants, and much more. Register at the parking area at Bob's.

Next month's event is Saturday, June 20 at Spencer's Hole on the Santiam. More details soon.

Also stay posted for details of the combined event August 28-30 with World Kayak from Eugene to be held at Redsides. Camping at Bittersweet camp.
