[Cmug-talk] Yosemite Character Table

Greetings -

I have a problem with Yosemite, I think.

I need the lower case Greek character, rho, to use in a scientific paper. I cannot really substitute another symbol because this is the recognized symbol for material density. 

With earlier MacOS versions, there was a wonderful character table with Greek symbols, and music, and math, and on and on and on. One could get beautifully lost in that table. 

With Yosemite, it is absolute BLAHH! Yes, some math symbols, but the Greek and other stuff seems to be missing.

I looked at the Keyboard table and there are a few Greek characters (mu, omega, beta, alpha, for example), but no rho. 

How can I get the symbol I need? It is obviously in the internal font system somewhere because it displays properly within imported text.
