Dear Rachel,

On behalf of the National Association of Biology Teachers I would like to inform you that you have been selected 2009 recipient of the NABT Outstanding New Biology Teacher Award. A letter is on it's way to you as confirmation. The NABT Awards committee was impressed with both the number of applications submitted and the quality of the submissions themselves. It is obvious that there are many high-quality, deserving biology teachers, still early in the their careers, who qualify for serious consideration for this award.

This award is sponsored by NABT and Ken-A-Vision. A recognition plaque will be presented to you during the Awards Luncheon at the NABT Professional Development Conference in Denver, along with a complimentary one-year NABT membership.

Again, thank you for your application submission and best wishes on your continued successes and I look forward to working with you on behalf of NABT.

Sincerely

Bob Melton
