[Osta-board] Rockow Wins in March!

There must be some March Madness in the OSTA Membership contest!

      The unexpected is happening !  First the amazing Michigan 
Wolverines win enough basketball games to make it to the Final Four.  
Then, Mike Rockow wins the OSTA March membership contest . . . the first 
time he has ever won a rock at any event !

      Perhaps it is the magic of the "Shiva Lingham" stone that makes 
this all possible.  Time will tell how far the Wolverines get this 
weekend.  Keep you eyes on Mike Rockow too.  This Indian "Shiva Lingham' 
is supposed to have great magical powers!    This may get interesting!

     However, now it is time for the April Membership contest.  This 
time the prize is a Thunder Egg from Oregon.  It is about 9 cm in 
diameter, about the size of a baseball.

     The new draw to bring in OSTA memberships and renewals is that Lori 
has arranged to give $50 Vernier gift certificates for new members ! ! ! 
  That, plus the $90 discount that that their membership will bring when 
they sign up for the NSTA Western Regional should help you persuade even 
your most obstinate colleagues to join OSTA.   Have them sign up on the
