[Osta-board] Nice weather for a board meeting!

Hi Lynda and board members,

What a great weekend to stay indoors with colleagues and good
friends, lots of food, and a warm fire in the fireplace. (or on a
space shuttle tile!)

Thank you all for a constructive and well run board meeting. I
think that NSTA will be very pleased with your nominations and theme
ideas. The organization is in good financial shape, and the new board
members brought some energy and renewed interest to the proceedings of
these meetings. That was the fullest and fastest ODE visit that we
have ever experienced!

New tasks and projects should make for an interesting meeting in
April. Hopefully, some of the pictures and articles will make it into
the next TOST.

Hugs and applause to Carolyn for her years of work as
comptroller. Special thanks to Marj for taking minutes. I hope we
get to see some of those "skyper people" in person at the next meeting.

Thank you for all that you do for science education. Enjoy the
earth-science weather this week!

        Peace and friendship, Bernie
